Past Domains

Midnight-Mist.net
Midnight-Mist.net was handed to me by the previous owner, Patricia. I had applied because I was interested in the domain and using it, and I was accepted out of several others. I kept Midnight-Mist as a subdomain hosting website for quite some time, but it was incredibly unsuccessful. It then became a simple database of quote graphics, then held my "scribble" artwork for some time. I began to hate the domain so on the 19th June I gave this domain to Jef, a pal at TFL.

Sparkulous.com
Sparkulous.com was given to me by my friend Kerry. She used it as a shop and I planned to use it for fanlistings or a photo project. I knew I had too many domains though, and I didn't really want to go ahead with the project. I also didn't like the name as much as I initially did. I gave this domain to my friend Jake.

Skullbomb.org
Skullbomb.org was purchased on the NameCheap marketplace for a small price on the 5th March. I was going to use it for fanlistings or a portfolio of sorts... but I lost interest in the domain.

|
Lovestrings.org
Lovestrings.org was purchased on the 14th November 2009, opening on the 17th. My friend Monica allowed me to use the credit in her NameCheap account to register it. This domain previously held my James Morrison fanlistings. I lost interest in the name, and I wanted to cut back on unnecessary domains so I put it for sale.

|
Aerifyre.com
Aerifyre.com was purchased on the 21st August 2009. I originally bought it for my friend Vivien for her Tumblr blog, but she handed it back after she lost interest in web design. I used the domain for my 365 albums project for some time, then the domain was bought from me by Zach.

|
Enchanted.nu
Enchanted.nu was purchased on the 7th October 2009 by Hannah. I bought the domain from her on the 10th November. It opened on 12th January 2010 as a graphic portfolio, but soon I lost interest in the domain and realised that a lot of people couldn't view the site because it was blocked in their country. :S

Creepesque.com
Creepesque.com was purchased on the 7th November 2009 and opened the next day. It was a small collective of my Atreyu-related fanlistings. My friend Vivien had thought up the name. I lost interest in the domain and didn't really like the name after some time. I put it up for sale on the 10th March 2010 and moved the fanlistings back to Eyethief.

FireTheArrow.com
FireTheArrow.com was purchased on the 12th September 2009 and opened on the 23rd. It was, for some time, a joint blog between my boyfriend James and I. The name came from his love of archery. Unfortunately, we both lost some interest in the site, and decided that it didn't need to be on a domain. It moved to James.Georgie.nu on the 8th March 2010.

o1s.net
o1s.net was adopted to me on the 6th March 2009 by Olivia. It opened on the 11th. I really wanted another domain to create a photoblog that I would update daily. o1s was my best choice that I could adopt from So-Pink. I grew to like the name but in the end, I decided that it was time to let the domain go and give it to someone else, seeing as I had registered a wonderfully perfect domain name for my photoblog: Indecisively.me.

KissTheRain.info
KissTheRain.info was a domain I obtained on the 12th November 2009 from my host Kya. I won it in her Halloween competition. It was my icon archive for a while, with clunky recycled CSS and all icons from crap to alright. :P The name was really spontaneous and I didn't like it at first. Then I warmed to the name, realising it was a song by Yiruma. Finally I decided to let it go as I didn't like it anymore. It is now an option to be hosted under at Bubble!

RubyTears.info
RubyTears.info was a domain I obtained on 28th May 2009. It started simply as a hosting site run by me and my friend Jeff. But he disappeared from the online world for some time, and he wasn't interested anymore. I was going to open this up as a hosting option on Heartdrops.info but I lost interest in the name. It has gone to my good friend Jenn, who I handed it over to on the 7th January 2010.

Paper-Hearts.net
Paper-Hearts.net was given to me some time in early 2009. I noticed that the site was closed and I asked the owner if I could use the domain. She gladly handed it to me. Because the domain could not be moved from its host, what I could do with it was limited. I wanted to start a little message website where people could write messages for other people and they would be displayed on the site. Shortly after I began work on it, the site was hacked.

|
Fallthrough.info
FallThrough.info was an adopted domain from the owner. I was going to use it for a random blog in 2009, but what I could do with it was also limited. After this I realised that I was better off getting my own domains or buying from other people, rather than adopting. It's a lot easier when I have control over the domains I own.
