Current Domains

Heartdrops.org
Heartdrops.org was purchased on the 5th October 2008, opened on the 11th, and is my main website. It is the home of my blog as well as a multitude of tutorials and visitor content such as resources. As my first domain, I had never dreamt it would be so popular. I initially bought it after failing so many times to win one. I have learned so much from having this domain. The name is derived from the word "raindrops" and the common word "heart", and I came up with the idea from listening to 'Injection' by Rise Against and 'Raindrops' by Armor For Sleep.
DreamingLess.com
DreamingLess.com was purchased on the 27th March 2009. I had been eyeing the name for quite some time. It comes from the song Stay On The Ground by Armor For Sleep, one of my favourite bands. I chose to purchase the domain to have as my first .com domain. I planned this as my writing portfolio. Initially it ran on FanUpdate and had a rather boring layout, but recently I made the switch to WordPress and jazzed it up with a new layout. It holds all my writings from stories to poetry to song lyrics.
Aquapheric.net
Aquapheric.net was purchased some time in April, but was registered on the 11th January 2009. I had been randomly browsing the NameCheap marketplace for cheap domain names. Most of the names were bland or unattractive, but as soon as I saw Aquapheric for a fraction of the price of a new registration, I had to buy it. This domain initially contained random lists and memes that I completed, the idea given to me by my best friend Lilian. However, I completely lost interest in the domain for many months, before I decided that the name suited my light stock photography - which is what it showcases now.
Eyethief.com
Eyethief.com was purchased on the 24th April 2009. I had been accepted for a number of fanlistings at TFL and felt that these fanlistings deserved to be on a new domain. I was originally going to buy tranquilium.org but felt there would be discrepancy in the spelling, and that it was time to buy a domain name that would suit my crazy side. EyeThief is an inside joke between my boyfriend James and I; the story of which can be found on the website. Currently, the domain is my fanlisting collective which displays my owned and joined TFL-approved fanlistings.
Slowdawn.info
Slowdawn.info was purchased on the 23rd June 2009 by my friend Jeff, after I had won him a few domains, he returned the favour. I chose this domain to connect to my Tumblr account, because since joining I had enjoyed posting so much, and felt that the baby needed a domain name. I originally wanted a different domain extension but Jeff could only afford to buy me a .info. The name comes from the song Slow Dawn by The Smashing Pumpkins.
Meladori.info
Meladori.info was purchased on the 30th May 2009 by my dear friend and host Kya, after I won a random competition she held. I wasn't a fan of the .info, but I pondered long and hard about a suiting site name, and I really love the name now. Meladori comes from the song Meladori Magpie by The Smashing Pumpkins. This domain is the home of my 365 albums project, previously on Aerfiyre.com. It used to showcase my scribbles but on the 10th March, I began this album project.
Woodnotes.org
Woodnotes.org was purchased on the 5th September 2009. I had promised myself for so long that I would not register a new domain until I revamped all my other domains - and I kept that promise. After much thought, I decided to register a domain that would be more personal. I wanted to assist my university studies and make sure what I learned stayed with me. Woodnotes is my place where I "woodnote" things that I learn each day. The name was just one that I favoured, and I loved the .org extension.
Georgie.nu
Georgie.nu was purchased on the 13th September 2009. For a while I had so desperately wanted a .nu domain, so I could have one with my name or nickname. Disappointed that Georgina.nu was taken, I was determined to get Georgie.nu. I had eyed it for so long but resisted buying it until the time was right and until I felt that the money was worth it. I encountered problems when registering, due to my own mistakes, but finally, I registered the domain and it is now my domain collective. I had my heart set on another name, but decided that Georgie.nu would be more suitable.
Heartdrops.info
Heartdrops.info was purchased on the 9th November 2009. It opened on the 23rd November as a hosting site. I chose the name because it was available and matched my other domain Heartdrops.org. It offered hosting for both domains and subdomains - mostly free, but larger plans paid. I had resellers at multiple places but I soon moved hosting to Floriental because of server issues and I wanted a fresh start.
Floriental.org
Floriental.org was purchased on the 20th January 2009 by Joey, after I won $9.69 in her domain competition. I had my eye on the name for a while, thinking of a nature gallery or photoblog of sorts, but wasn't so enthusiastic on the idea after a while. Since 16th March 2010, it became my hosting site in conjunction with Heartdrops.info. I bought a reseller from Holdfire.net. I recall thinking of the name while reading through my mum's perfume notes (she is a beauty consultant), which is a word used to describe the scent of certain perfumes (floral + oriental).
Indecisively.me
Indecisively.me is my photoblog and photojournal. It was originally at o1s.net for about a year, but after registering this domain on the 22nd January 2010, I knew that it was time for me to let go of o1s, and start afresh. I love the name of the domain since it really reflects me, as I am a very indecisive person. I've kept a photoblog since the 11th March 2009, but Indecisively.me opened on the 20th February 2010.
Neverfly.org
Neverfly.org was purchased on the 9th January 2010 by Holly. She handed the domain name to me after feeling guilty that she had taken my domain name idea. This website opened on the 26th February 2010. It is a collective of my Armor For Sleep and God Loves A Challenge related fanlistings, as well as housing some icons. I love this domain and how the name and layout turned out.
Celestine.me
Celestine.me is the home of my personal portfolio. I had one at Enchanted.nu but I didn't like the name anymore and it was disorganised. Celestine is my middle name and the .me domain was one of the only ones Celestine was available in so I put my hands on it right away. In comparison to my professional portfolio, this contains my best photography and graphic designs - it's much "prettier". The website opened on the 30th May 2010.
