About The Site

What can I say. Most of the inspiration behind all my domains and this website comes from Hannah and Kya, two of my best friends online. Both of them have helped me through my journeying on the internet, maybe only since 2008, but they have always inspired me and still do.

Hannah has been a close friend of mine for quite some time, and ever since she told me about the NameCheap Twitter trivia contests, I have become a domain junkie. I have taken any opportunity to grab a domain, and have saved up my wins from the competitions. Once my addiction got out of hand I had to make promises to myself so that I wouldn't register any more. I didn't want to leave domains just 'lying around'.

Georgie.nu is my first ever .nu domain. I don't feel that anything else holds the specialty that my nickname does, the nickname my parents have called me ever since birth. Partially, it might be because of the money it costs, but seeing as this domain will last for another two years, I guess it's worth it.

The .org TLD has discreetly been my favourite. For some time I only owned two .org domains but over time I've had others, only my OCD tends to make me want to even out the number of domain I have under each extension.

I had my eyes on Georgie.nu for so long. I had the money to buy a .nu, but I was unsure of what to do with it. I was contemplating other domain names for a collective, rather than Georgie.nu. I was going to move my entire website at Heartdrops.org over here, but something told me that it didn't fit right, and I don't feel right splitting my personal blog from everything else.

Over time I can say I've owned too many domains, many of which I've had a hard time selling, and many of which were loved very dearly, but every now and then I have to let go and keep the ones I really do love.
